Common questions
Is Mouse Captain fully offline?
No. Screenshots, OCR and organization include local capabilities. For AI tasks, you can choose local capabilities, Everdrift-hosted AI or your own API keys. The interface clearly distinguishes these options.
Are screenshots and OCR contents uploaded for behavioral analytics?
No. Behavioural analytics may record only minimal result events with user consent, without screenshots, OCR text, prompts or clipboard contents.
Can I download it now?
There is no public download yet. Accounts, entitlements, hosted AI, signing and distribution will be completed before invited testing begins.
